The graphic novel version of the flashback that takes up a majority of Dark Tower 4 is a worthy version, slightly different and a little quicker meaning the characters outside the main group don't tend to get a lot of page time. But what's there is both faithful and engaging, with Jae Lee's art providing a perfect tone and atmosphere.
