I expected this manga to scare me, and it didn't. But what it did do... it creeped me out. And moreover, it stuck with me. I'd find some of it - not the actual stories, but the visuals, the events - coming to mind at weird times in the days after finishing. Sometimes just in a "Brrr... that was creepy" way, but sometimes in a more visceral skin-crawly way. I wish I'd gotten through it in October, because it really gets most of what I love in a good horror story. But e3ven now it was pretty darn awesome. Gross and disturbing without being terribly graphic. Just... weird. Just creepy and grotesque. But that's part of what made it stick with me. Definitely worth a look if you like weird, grotesque horror.
