While I found the last volume a bit of a let-down after the initial installation, this one puts the bar right back up. The art is gorgeous, and the colors are just amazing, making this comic a pleasure to read even if the story isn't quite your thing.
But in this issue, we get the backstory of Jack and Tip, and it's pretty stellar. We also get a bit more Glinda, which is always bonus in my book, and some more interaction between Jack and The Tin Man, who are both used to being the one in charge and have a bit of difficulty listening to each other's orders.
All in all, another fantastic volume in a series that continues to come highly recommended from me.
